Quick Post: Nico Robin

For a manga that emphasizes manliness so vehemently, One Piece sure does have some incredible women. Nico Robin is one of my favorite animated women of all time; intelligent, soft-spoken, and strong without acting like she has something to prove, Robin is a great example of a competent and capable and likeable female character.

For those who don't read One Piece, Robin's powers involve "sprouting" multiple copies of her own limbs off of various surfaces. Multiple copies of her hands, eyes, ears and feet can pop up anywhere she needs them.

In chapter 635, Robin puts her feet in center stage by making an enormous copy of them, then using them to literally stomp an enemy army down. This is one of those rare combat situations where tickling in unison would be the ideal counterattack.

Hopefully I'll be able to post some very high quality versions in the future. I can't wait to see this animated.

Putting on a Play: Chou Kuse Ni Narisou

I'll admit, I've never been a big fan of anime from the 90s. The super-exaggerated expressions and often downright ugly art didn't do much to draw me in.  Cho Kuse Ni Narisou's story isn't very good and the art is nothing spectacular either, but it does have a great foot tickling scene, one that took users at TickleTheater over a year to track down. Thankfully, after many tireless nights of searching, I found a somewhat suspicious torrent that seemed to contain the scene in question. With the help of the brave users MisterDae, who downloaded the torrent and verified it's content, and brk4, who made us a clip, we can now share this scene with everyone.

The character being tickled is Momoko Prisila, the rich and slightly insane rival of the main character, Nagisa. Thankfully, Nagisa gets a great chance to humiliate Momoko here, and we're glad she went though with it. The feet may not be particularly detailed, but the overall scene is very nice.

Hopefully that will tide everyone over for another few months. Until next time, enjoy!

Beauty in Poverty: Binbougami Ga!

Featuring an almost all-female cast, Binbougami Ga! stars Sakura, a girl who could be considered gifted in every way, except for kindness. To counter Sakura's selfish attitude, the Binbougami, or God of poverty, is sent to make her life miserable. Fortunately, Sakura won't go down without a fight, and the manga details the humorous coexistence between Sakura, Binbougami, and the various other gods and humans that enter their lives.

Unfortunately, most of the manga hasn't been translated, so while I can tell you that Sakura is the one with light brown hair and Binbougami is the dirty-blond with the cast on her arm, that's about all I know of the characters. The nice feet don't need a translation though, so enjoy!

I really wish I know more about the pink-haired gangster-girl, since she's ticklish too. Not feet, sadly, but the situation is still really cute.

Okay, that's all for now. Hopefully I'll find a substantial foot-tickling scene soon! I usually search 5+ volumes of manga a day, so this still is pretty tough to come by. haha

Bewitching: Triss Marigold in The Witcher 2

I've played lots of RPGs over the past year; Fable 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Dragon Age 2 were all interesting titles, but they didn't quite leave me satisfied. The latest Fable and Dragon Age titles seem tailored for a more casual audience, much to their detriment, and New Vegas was ambitious but ran on very stale technology. Amongst recent RPGs, The Witcher 2 really manages to stand out as something different. An interesting and complex story, memorable (and often despicable) characters and even, surprisingly, a fairly emotional and deep approach to romance and sex.

Protagonist Geralt is known for getting around, but the charming and intelligent Triss Merigold stands out from the pack (yes, Geralt's conquests could most definitely qualify as a pack) as the strong female lead. Her dialogue is witty and realistic, a refreshing change from the overtly-sexual writing you'll see for most women in games... and movies... and TV. And while you're certain to see her naked a few times in the story, I never felt she was being exploited for sex-crazed fans. When it made sense for her to be nude, she was, and it seemed natural. Oh, and she's a sorceress, which is also pretty sexy.

Yes, I am aware of the irony in posting promotional Playboy pictures of a character I just claimed was treated so respectfully. Just consider it a non-canon cameo, because I swear they don't have her doing this sort of thing in the game. If you're looking for an interesting story, pick up The Witcher 2 for PC, but be warned that it's an extremely demanding game with top-notch graphics and you'll need a pretty strong computer to run it!

I'm hoping to have more tickling material soon.
